I'm a second-generation business owner, husband, father of three, coach, hunter, and designer.

I've spent over 25 years building Roughing It In Style from a small family operation into a full-service furnishings and interior design business across two states. The work I care about most is creating, not maintaining. New products, new spaces, new ideas. The status quo bores me and always has.

This site is where all of it comes together. The interiors I've designed, the products I've developed, the photography that teaches me to see, and the writing where I work out what I actually think about craft, business, risk, and making things worth keeping.
